Visit Université de Bourgogne and PhD defense Gabriela Gutierrez-Guillen

In February 19-23, 2024 I visited the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, invited by Pavao Mardešić and Dominique Sugny. Besides the interesting discussions, the main reason for the visit was the PhD defense by Gabriela Gutierrez-Guillen of her thesis “Qualitative study of physical phenomena through geometry of complex foliations” for which I was one of the “rapporteurs”. Moreover, Pavao Mardešić, Gabriela Gutierrez-Guillen, and Dominique Sugny, organized on February 23, an one-day workshop on “Integrable Systems and Geometry of Complex Foliations”. In the workshop I presented a recent, still unpublished, joint work with Bohuan Lin and Holger Waalkens on Maslov \(S^1\) bundles.
